Unless you've been living in a box, you'll know that Ayumi Hamasaki's new album comes out this January the first. I just found the previews on aznmedia, and decided *whaththhell* and downloaded them.
Yes, Ayu is angry. Ayu is rocking. Ayu sounds sad. Ayu sounds like she did in great albums like song for xx, I am, rainbow, etc. Then again, Ayu always puts in great emotion. However, I think this album will be much less pop and more rock and power ballad. Good.
Don't leave me alone is a fastpaced rock track. Love the siren sounding thing at the beggining.
Guilty stars with a clock. Interesting. It sounds like another rock track, but starts very quiet. Very sad and...forlorn sounding. She sounds guilty- if that's possible. Don't really like the chorus- but could grow on me.
Marionette sounds like a power ballad- with some sorta creepiness about it? The interlude is equally creepy-sounding: in the good way of course. Like...I don't know...maybe a music box?
There was alot of talking in mirror, but I think it may be another rock track. Sounds like it could be good.
My all is pop! Sounds like bluebird. Whatever.
Rebirth has a beautiful opening. The echo effect is lovely. Sounds magical. Beautiful instrumental.
The judgement day is a odd title. It's a quite song and a little echo-ey.
Untitled-for her is pop? Not sure about this one. The repeating background sound is a bit annoying. No, it's a balld (just got to the middle of the preview where more instruments are introduced). bittersweet, and hopeful.
You know what? I'm dying to hear this album. And to see the lyrics. I want my album to come now!! I don't know how I'm supposed to wait...
The more I listen to this band, the more I love them. I think the best word to describe them is "powerful". Gradually, my favourite songs of theirs list is growing. This is their new single, realeased on 2007.10.24. It's good. Really good.
- DOZING GREEN
- Hydra -666-
- Agitated Screams of Maggots (LIVE)
I have already expressed my love for dozing green. I'lll express it again. Everything about this song is wonderfully done. I love that the screaming is placed in just the right places, and there's alot of singing. The melody too is just genious. It has the emotion and power of songs like "conceived sorrow" and That long titled one from marrow of the bone. You need to listen to this! Especially if you're looking to get into Dir en grey, but are scared of the screamo shit. This isn't anything like this. It's unique rock, done really well. Highly recommended song.
The next track is Hydra 666. Apparently this is a new version of the song "HYdra" from one of their albums. I've not listened to the original so I won't compare. This track starts of really quiet, then goes into crazyness. Then goes quiet. It's weird, but tolerable. Where's the singing? Do I need to turn it up louder? This is a crazy track. What was the original like?!
Laslty theres a live version. The only live versions of their songs I've heard were the ones on the Ryoujoku No Ame ones. They were really good. This one, not so good. Firstly theres a big period of silence at the beggining, and the quality isn't really the best. I'll skip this one.
So.. I think the only thing listening to is Dozing green. Which is a shame, as Dozing green is really amazing yet the other tracks let is down. Maybe Dir en Grey put all their effort into that one and didn't want to bother with the others? LOL. Pretty good single. But I think I'll stick with just the title track.
Finally got round to downloading this. So far..so good. Anyway, 12012 is a visual Kei band. I first got into them with what they did for RomeoxJuliet, cyclone. I really love that song :D So far, the only other song I listen to by them is "deep forest" (very beautiful btw) but I want to get into them more. This is their 10th single, released on 17.10.07. It came in three versions, like cyclone, and the one I've got is the limited edition with the following tracklist:
Shine..is quite poppy actually. It feels like a toned down cyclone. It's a little bland actually, but at least it isn't totally crazy. It is a decent listen, but it not catchy like cyclone and easily forgotten.
Innocent Sight is boring. It's upbeat, and the chorus is a little annoying. I think it could get better after a few listens.
How about Truth..? starts with a simple piano melody before building up. I love it. It's laidback, with elements of something or another. It has alot of atmoshere and emotion. I think the singing is great. I think the guitar solo is brilliant. I think this track is great.
I think if you're looking to get into this band listen to Cyclone first, then try this. It's a pretty decent single. On a random note, the cover is beautiful. I think I'm going to try the regular edition too.If I was looking to buy this though, I wouldn't get how about truth : (
Read from right to left and enjoy.
Now, though Hatori Bisco makes the most simple story carry on for ages you find yourself totally hooked simply becuase of three factors: a) magnificent art, b) It's very funny and c) She also mixes alot of other emotinos in, just at the right points.
Me loved Ouran High school hosts now me is addicted to the cute shoujo that is: A thousand years of snow! .
Chiyuki is a high school student living with a heart disease that threatens to take her life at any moment. One night, she meets Touya, a vampire with the opposite problem; he will live for about a thousand years. It's customary for a vampire of Touya's age to choose a human partner, one who will allow him to drink her blood and who will also share his life span. Considering long life to be more of a curse than a blessing, Touya refuses to bind a person to him by drinking their blood. Chiyuki, not wanting Touya to be so alone, makes it her goal to convince him to make her his partner for a thousand years.
Can't get better than that can it?
